The Garlic Farm have partnered with BeesMAX to bring you an introductory course so you can acquire a basic knowledge of this ancient craft. Led by BeesMAX, this course will provide a wealth of information on; the lifecycle of honey bees, urban beekeeping, where is suitable, ancient and modern types of beehive and the usual beekeeping equipment required to become an apiarist. And last but not least the threats honey bees face in today's environment.

Weather permitting, you will be suiting up to visit the bees at the Garlic Farm Apiary. You will be able to follow the life of the bees after the workshop via the remote monitoring system. See www.arnia.co.uk for more information.
