Monday 15 Apr - 30 Jun Island Artist Lucia Para Exhibiting in The Garlic Farm Restaurant

We have Island artists works on display in our restaurant throughout the year. Works are for sale and are individually priced.

Lucia Para is an Italian artist and illustrator living on the Isle of Wight. Her biggest loves are nature, pattern and picture books. Many of her works are mixed media and depict stories with colour, shapes and textures lending a fairytale, earthy feel to her creations.

Saturday 27 Apr, 10am - 2pm Sketch-A-Veg - Workshop with Island Artist Yvonne Darby

Sketch a Veg, Art Workshop!

With Island-based artist Yvonne Marie Darby.

Still life painting and sketching with your five a day! Using the varied shapes and colours of Garlic and other veg, learn techniques of using light and colour to build dimension. With line, colour and water based paints, bring out beautiful impressions.

Enjoyable, fun and suitable for beginners, also those with some experience. Full of wonderful tips and guidance. Tip sheet to take home.

Demonstrations, exercises and a guided picture. All materials included. There will be a break for refreshments.

Friday 21 Jun, 7pm - 10pm Summer Solstice Garlic & Ghosts Evening

Join us at The Garlic Farm Restaurant on the eve of the Summer Solstice with Marc Tuckey, the Isle of Wight Ghost expert.

A delicious garlicky two-course dinner will be served in the restaurant to provide you with full garlic protection followed by a talk by Marc Tuckey about the ghosts of the local area by way of introduction before we walk to the famously haunted 'Knighton Gorges' less than 1 mile away across ancient footpaths through the fields as the sun sets.

7pm start for supper at The Garlic Farm Restaurant, walk will start at about 9pm.

£25 to include supper, talk & guided walk.

infamous melancholic Jaques, this comedy is ideal for all the family

The performance will take place on the grassy slope behind The Garlic Farm Restaurant.
