The Garlic Farm Events Calendar

We have lots happening at the farm from parties to opera evenings, film screenings to art exhibitions. Find out what's on and keep up to date with our events calendar. Wednesday 7 Apr - 26 May, 09:30 - 11am Nature Walks with Dave Fairlamb

Nestled at the foot of the Chalk Downs, the fields, woodlands and ponds of The Garlic Farm are a haven for Nature. Spring is a wonderful season on the farm, full of bird song and migrant birds returning, butterflies taking to the wing, spring flowers in bloom and Red Squirrels active in the woods.

Join Dave Fairlamb of Natural Links for a Guided Nature Walk of 90 minutes around the Garlic Farm to witness the nature around us in this glorious landscape. Dave is an expert in local wildlife and has a knack of spotting all the wonders that surround us and inspiring adults and children alike with in-depth insights and information.

Meet at the Meadow Arch.

Monday 12 Apr - 17 May The Garlic Farm Shop & Restaurant Open (Outdoor Dining Only)

Our Farm Shop & Restaurant will be back to normal opening hours from 12th April : 9am to 5pm

We welcome our customers back to dine outside for breakfast and lunch, morning coffee or afternoon tea on our beautiful terrace, under the awning or under our marquee covering. Enjoy our new menu for 2021.

Monday 17 May The Garlic Farm Restaurant Reopens for Indoor Dining

Saturday 22 May - 31 Aug Tractor Trailer Tours recommence

From 22nd May we will be offering our Tractor Trailer Tours around The Garlic Farm Site weekends and school holidays.

Learn all about the history of the farm, all about garlic and our garlic products while enjoying the beautiful route through farmland of the Arreton Valley.

Tours are 30 minutes long and run 11am, 12noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm weekends and daily during school holidays only.

Purchase tickets on a first come first serve basis from our farm shop.

Max capacity per trailer is 20 to allow social distancing between family groups.

Face coverings must be worn on board.

Saturday 22 - 23 May, 11:30 - 12pm Meet The Garlic Farmer - Colin Boswell

Meet Colin Boswell, the Garlic Farmer and have all your burning garlic questions answered!

Colin will meet you at the arch of the Wild Flower meadow at 11.30am and share with you the history of the farm, the history of garlic, garlic varieties and how to grow them.

Please purchase a token from our farm shop on the day for this talk.

£5 per person (Under 16 year old children accompanied by adults can attend for free)

Sunday 30 May, 6pm - 9pm Pizza & Jazz at The Garlic Farm Restaurant

Join us on the terrace of The Garlic Farm Restaurant on Sunday Evenings for beautiful live music from talented local musicians. Event will be move inside if raining.

Pizzas will be served from our wood-fired pizza oven and a fully licensed bar available. Children can play on the grassy area and in the play area.
