Our story is about simplicity
Being very highly attuned to the provenance and subtleties of ingredients is the cornerstone of a great dish and we admire chefs and home cooks alike who venerate these building blocks. This inspiration helps us keep a keen focus on the role and interplay of ingredients. It is a pure joy to watch people prepare wonderful food and it is great to watch people enjoy eating it. This is what makes Wild Island tick. When we hear of a passionate cook or chef lifting a dish with one of our oils, dressings, or vinegars, we feel that we are winning!

Founded by Nuala Grandcourt, Wild Island spent over a decade shaping the approach described above. In early 2022, Nuala left the Newchurch-based HQ and kitchen to explore new adventures in food. Natasha Wilson succeeded into the role having spent years learning the alchemy, love and diligence required to create the Great Taste award-winning product range.
Made in small batches
Natasha applies a methodology to her production that is somewhere between art and science. Her approach to flavour is to be sensitive, precise, and inventive. Wild Island, based in the middle of the Isle of Wight is a natural expression of these qualities. Natasha says: 'I take pride in knowing every batch, from infusion to finished bottle has been lovingly made and labelled by myself and the small team at Wild Island'. At Wild Island we love combining flavours, discovering and blending tastes. In fact this forms the basis for developing each of our products. We take great care to use the best ingredients, using local ingredients wherever possible, always with provenance, quality and taste in mind. We offer delicious blends which can be used on their own or combined to create tempting dressings, dips, marinades and glazes.
