Making a traditional pesto with all that basil and pine nuts can end up being quite a costly little endeavour. Here's a super easy and delicious garlicky alternative.
- 2 big handfuls of wild garlic
- 50g sunflower Seeds
- 3tbs extra virgin olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Sea salt to taste
Roughly chop the wild garlic, put in a food processor with all the ingredients and blend. Season to taste. Use as you would normal pesto and enjoy the extra garlic hit.
